Little Things

Just a quick post for today. I’ve been doing my best to experiment with different kinds of shots than I normally take. The light caught the grass just right and I couldn’t resist grabbing this shot. The bokeh effect is straight from the camera, let me know what you think!

Roosevelt Bridge

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent mine doing some hiking and taking some pictures in Sedona. I’ve lived in Arizona my whole life and yet this is the first time I’ve ever been to Sedona. I found it to be very heavy on the tourist side and the more places I visit, the more I find I prefer to shoot landscapes in areas that are a bit more isolated. Still we had a great time and got some great shots.

I also broke down and ordered Photoshop CS5 and also bought the Topaz bundle. I saved about $200 by purchasing from buy.com instead of the Adobe website. The downside is I have to wait for the software to arrive (should be here by tomorrow). I have had limited experience with Photoshop, so if you know of any good tutorials please don’t hesitate to post them in the comments.

This is picture I took of the Roosevelt Bridge during my time out there in January. It was mostly a clear blue day so I was happy when the clouds starting forming by mid afternoon. I liked this perspective on the bridge. Let me know what you think.
