The Pelican Brief
Happy Friday everyone! I hope everyone has grand plans for the weekend. Kristi and I have some big plans for the blog that we hope to unveil this weekend so be sure to check back next week! We’re also looking forward to attending Mike Olbinski’s photo walk in downtown Phoenix this Saturday, It should be a great time!
Today’s post is from the Royal Melbourne Zoo. I took these photos of some loose pelicans that were hanging around a pond area. It was really surprising to turn the corner and see a bunch of pelicans standing there 3 feet tall. I hope you enjoy! Leave a comment and tell me what you think of the processing.

Gateway to Paradise
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend. I apologize for my lack of activity over the last several days. Kristi and I seemed to have picked up some kind of virus when we were in Sedona. Let’s just say that we are glad we have two bathrooms in the house and leave it at that 
Today’s picture is the gatehouse to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. I absolutely loved this place, it was so relaxing and peaceful and the scenery was beautiful. You can see another picture I posted for the gardens here.
