This is another shot I took at Lake Powell. We got to the lake a couple hours before sunset and explored the area looking for the best vantage point for sunset. 30 minutes after I took this shot however it another storm front moved in and obscured the sky completely. It was plain that the sunset was going to be a bust so we decided to pack it in. I got a few shots before we took off however and this is one of them. Enjoy!

Time Is A Face On The Water

I borrowed this title from a Steven King book called “Wizard and Glass”. It’s from the Dark Tower series and I have to say that it’s definitely one of my favorites. I took this shot last weekend in Lake Powell while waiting for a sunset that never came. It’s an awesome feeling to just sit at the lake when no one else is there, it’s very peaceful. In particular I love to hear the gentle sounds of the water sloshing on the shore.

I did something very different with this image – I used no processing on it whatsoever. I’ve very curious to hear your feedback so please be sure to leave a comment. I hope you have a great weekend!
