Happy Friday everyone! What I’ve been waiting for has finally happend – a nice snow storm is hitting Northern Arizona as we speak which means snow at the Grand Canyon! As long as the roads are in decent shape, I am planning on heading up this weekend and can’t wait to see the Canyon with fresh snow!

Since my trip to Utah, I have been taking some extra time to learn and utilize some new post processing techniques in Photoshop. These techniques exclude the use of Tone Mapping and so far I have been enjoying a more subtle and realistic look to my processing. Today’s image comes from Capital Reef National Park which I drove through on the way to Moab. The Fall colors were really looking beautiful in this area and I took the time to stop and take several shots on the way to Arches National Park. Have a great weekend and thanks for commenting!
