Here’s a shot from Blue Canyon from back in June. This was my first attempt shooting star trails and I think the overall effect is pretty nice. I’ve been scouting a few places to shoot some night photography near by and I think I found some good spots. Now all I have to do is wait for the moon to wane a little more. Normally, I usually see night photography like this in color but I really liked the b&w effect. What do you think?

I think it looks perfectly fine in black and white. In color it would be just a bit of blue, since your lanscape is silhouetted any way. Nice shot.
