Stairs to the Hyatt
Happy Monday everyone and welcome to my new site! I’ve been working on this site off and on to for the last few weeks and I’m very excited to finally have it up and running. A BIG thank you to my wife Kristi for helping edit this theme.
This is a photo I took at Mike Olbinski’s photo walk in downtown Phoenix this past weekend. The photo walk was a great time and I had the opportunity to meet a lot of nice people and great photographers. The light in this alleyway had a greenish tint to it and after leaving the shutter open it captured enough reflected light to turn the alleyway a shade of green that even Kermit would be proud of!

The Only Girl In The World
Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend, I know I sure did. I spent a good deal of time either photographing or playing tennis and with weather as perfect as it was this weekend I can’t ask for more. We spent some time yesterday doing some photos in Jerome which is an old mining town. It was a really interesting almost “ghost town” with a lot of boarded up building and a few mine entrances. I’ll probably have a couple of those photos up later in the week so be sure to look for them.
My wife asked if I would take some photos of her for so she could update all of her different online profiles. Naturally, I jumped at the chance because it’s not every husband who gets to shoot his wife
. We went to the Japanese Friendship Garden here in the Phoenix area for the photo shoot and I must admit I was a bit nervous because I have never really done portrait photography. I relaxed pretty quickly because I realized Kristi is like one of those flowers who photographs well from all angles. Here are a few shots from our shoot on Saturday.
