The Only Girl In The World

Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend, I know I sure did. I spent a good deal of time either photographing or playing tennis and with weather as perfect as it was this weekend I can’t ask for more. We spent some time yesterday doing some photos in Jerome which is an old mining town. It was a really interesting almost “ghost town” with a lot of boarded up building and a few mine entrances. I’ll probably have a couple of those photos up later in the week so be sure to look for them.

My wife asked if I would take some photos of her for so she could update all of her different online profiles. Naturally, I jumped at the chance because it’s not every husband who gets to shoot his wife :) . We went to the Japanese Friendship Garden here in the Phoenix area for the photo shoot and I must admit I was a bit nervous because I have never really done portrait photography. I relaxed pretty quickly because I realized Kristi is like one of those flowers who photographs well from all angles. Here are a few shots from our shoot on Saturday.

ThatS pretty evil grin you have about shooting your wife! ;) After that comment I think you’d have better luck kissing that pinecone then her LOL. Oh about your pics, I like the top left one the best.

I was just thinking for someone about to get shot, she sure does have an awful big smile.

Chris – Thanks a lot. She was an easy subject.

Ryan – I’ve actually been dying to tell that joke all weekend, I’m glad I got a response! She actually laughed when she saw it so I think I’m alright. Thanks for the comment!

Well done! Good lighting. I guess you will never turn her photo into HDR photography. She does NOT need to be retouched. :)

Now I need to persuade my wife to get out of house and shoot her ….

Terance – Thanks, she definitely needs no touch ups! I believe that every husband should have the opportunity to shoot his wife… ;)
