Welcome to my weekly video series! In my experience, one of the most difficult things about compositions is learning what not to include in a photo. It’s very easy to get caught up in the beautiful of the scene before us and I know there’s many people out there like me that suffer from wideangleitus. In this video, I help you to identify the subject of a scene as well as distracting, competing and supporting elements. By practicing this simple process on photos you have already taken, it will allow you to visualize your compositions better in the field and learn which elements to include and exclude from your photo.
